On 26 August 2010 senator Tan Sri Datuk Jins Shamsuddin, one of famous Malaysian director was invited as guest lecturer according to his move Bukit Kepong at Limkokwing University Creative of Technology, Cyberjaya.
Bukit Kepong movie was filmed back in the 1980s. It took 120 days to shot with RM 1.3 M of the budget.
The movie also won 7 awards during the 3rd Malaysian Film Festival, including Best Film and Best Director.
Tan Sri Datuk Jins joined the students in the screening of Bukit Kepong at Hall of Fame.
According to Tan Sri the movie was initially banded by the Malaysian Goverment, but he managed to negotiate with then prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman for the movie to be screened after the national election.
Tan Sri known as the ‘Malaysian James Bond’ also said, ‘If you see the film you will know what exactly happened, it was as though I placed a camera during the incidents happened.
He mentioned, the crew had to use 600 gallons of petrol to burn down the police station which was the climax of the movie and it took almost 1 week for it to be fully burned.
